Janice L. Andreyko
M.D., FRCS(C), FACOG |

Dr. Janice L. Andreyko graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1978, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency there in 1983. In 1986, she completed a research fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Francisco. The majority of her research dealt with the use of gonadotropin releasing hormone analogs in Gynecology. After completing her fellowship in San Francisco, Dr. Andreyko was an assistant professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the University of Toronto from 1986 to1988, and for the University of California, San Francisco from 1988 to1990. From 1990 to 1997, Dr. Andreyko was a fertility specialist at Pacific Fertility Medical Center, and in September 1997, she became one of the infertility specialists serving the Roseville and the Sacramento area at Northern California Fertility Medical Center.

John L. Gililland, Jr.
M.D., FACOG |

Dr. John L. Gililland completed his medical degree at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in 1982, and his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Arizona Health Sciences Center in 1986. After practicing general Obstetrics and Gynecology for three years as a physician in the United States Army, he completed a two-year research fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. During that time, he discovered the presence of Atrial Natriuretic Peptide receptors in human endometrial tissue and evaluated the effects of various hormones on the expression of those receptors. He received two awards for that research. Following his fellowship, Dr. Gililland served as an assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and as Chief of the Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility service at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1993, he joined Dr. Andreyko at Pacific Fertility Medical Center - Sacramento and practiced there until he joined Northern California Fertility Medical Center in September 1997.

Michael J. Murray, M.D., FACOG |

Dr. Michael J. Murray graduated from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 1993 and finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of North Carolina in 1999. After concluding his training, Dr. Murray served on the faculty at the University of California Davis School of Medicine and then as the first Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento. Dr. Murray's special interests focus on reproductive surgery, including laparoscopy and the removal of fibroids, as well as assisted reproductive technologies and research in women's health. He has been awarded numerous grants and awards for his research from both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.

Carlos E. Soto-Albors, M.D., FACOG |

Dr. Carlos E. Soto-Albors completed his medical training at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, his OB/GYN residency at the University of Michigan, and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Soto-Albors established Northern California Fertility Medical Center in 1992. Previously, he served as Medical Director at Northern Nevada Fertility Center. Dr. Soto-Albors' special interests include the assisted reproductive technologies, laser pelviscopic surgery, microsurgical tubal reconstruction, and reproductive endocrinology. He is active in numerous medical-specialty societies and has published many scientific papers in peer review journals.

John E. Gould, M.D., Ph.D. |

A urologist and specialist in male infertility, Dr. John E. Gould practices in the Sacramento region, dedicating some of his time to patients at Northern California Fertility Medical Center. In 1974, he graduated from Williams College in Massachusetts and studied for a year at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. For one year, he worked in a research laboratory for human reproduction at Harvard University. After receiving his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in 1984, Dr. Gould completed a urologic residency at the University of California, Davis in late 1989. He joined the urology faculty there in 1990, serving as the expert in male infertility. Dr. Gould is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Urologic Association. He serves as a consultant to the Northern California Fertility Medical Center in Roseville, California and to Planned Parenthood in Sacramento. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Urology at the U.C. Davis School of Medicine, and provides male fertility services to Sutter Medical Foundation and Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Gould's private practice is conducted under the name Male Fertility Medical Associates, Inc., with offices in Sacramento and Roseville.
